Mr Eastman
My name is Mr Eastman and I teach one of the Year 6 classes at George Street Primary School. I started at George Street in September 2017, having graduating with a PGCE from University of South Wales, Swansea. Whilst on my PGCE, I had a fantastic experience teaching a range of year groups, including Years One, Four and Six.
I am passionate about teaching and I thoroughly enjoy learning with the children as they are experiencing and trying out new things. I aim to make the day as enjoyable as possible for the children, while encouraging a ‘hands on’ approach to enhance learning.
I have a strong sporting background, so sport is one of my passions, as well as History. I have organised many sporting clubs while on teaching placement, and I currently run a STEM club, where the children engage in plenty of activities to enhance their STEM knowledge.
I believe in an open door policy and if there are any issues or questions, I am always happy to help.
