Miss C Hale
Hi, I’m Miss Hale and I have the amazing opportunity to bring Drama to George Street School. After leaving my career in hospitality management I have returned to teaching, I have always had a passion for the performing arts starting from a very young age enrolling in a variety of performing art schools. Throughout my education I have had some fantastic opportunities to work with a variety of talented people who continue to inspire me every day.
I started George Street towards the end of the last academic year, it gave me a great start to introduce the expressive arts. The pupils at George Street are bursting with confidence and talent, I have always believed being involved in the expressive arts at a young age is crucial for social, emotional and personal development (so much so I based my dissertation on it). Learning through drama allows children to explore a variety of scenarios in a safe environment, it develops communication, and problem solving and above all seeing the joy it can bring will always put a smile on my face.
During my time away from school, you will find me looking for inspiration for my next home project or singing along to some of the classic musicals.
I like to go on long walks exploring new places, a personal favourite of mine is Llandegfedd Reservoir or my recent discovery of Brecon waterfalls.
